5 Terrible Evil Plans
I made a pretty horrendous mistake late in the video and had to perform a pretty embarrassingly obvious re-dub. And just to make absolutely certain he gets proper credit, I want to thank Skitch for the tune he whipped up for me.

Read Right To Left - Franken Fran, featuring JewWario
So for Halloween, I decided to do something a little special. Franken Fran is very different from my usual fare, but a certain set of chapters revolve around a group of Kamen Rider parodies, called the Sentinels. And of course, I couldn't in good conscience discuss Kamen Rider without asking the FamiKamen Rider to join me...

Read Right to Left - Let's Make Forbidden Love
This is the very first josei manga I ever read, and it gave me a very poor impression of the manga written for that demographic as a whole. I have since discovered some josei series that are considerably better written, and a few that are at the very least far more memorable.

Read Right To Left - To Love-Ru
To Love-Ru is, if nothing else, comfortable with what it is. It is a compendium of many girls of various body types ranging from petite to buxom in various states of undress, and it goes to great lengths to ensure that they end up in various states of undress as many times as possible. I am sure that the only reason there are certain fetishes that have not been catered to yet in either To Love-Ru or its sequel series, To Love-Ru Darkness, is that Hasemi Saki and Yabuki Kentaro simply are not aware of them yet.

Read Right to Left - Top 5 MANga Badasses
I can't really tell you where the idea for this video came from because it's been lurking in the back of my mind for the better part of a year. In the 'honorable mentions' part of the video you can see that I had enough characters in my mind to maybe even stretch the list to be a Top 10, but I felt that going that far would be kind of reaching, especially since a number of those characters pale in comparison to the "historical" examples that automatically don't qualify. And anyways, the video ended up having a very good running time with its current length.

Read Right to Left - Barrage
There's something that's just innately enjoyable to following something from the beginning and seeing how it develops. I think that's a tremendous part of the appeal of RPG's with a leveling system. You may not remember every little thing that happens along the way, but simply being part of the experience of traveling all the way from start to finish can be deeply satisfying. For as long as I've been reading manga, I've never followed a series from the beginning, and I think that's part of why I want this one to go on for as long as possible - I actually picked it up at chapter one, before chapter two was out. That's never happened for me before, and the sense of attachment I have to Barrage is incredibly disproportionate to the amount of time I've been reading it and thus should feel invested in it. The experience has really taught me that I need to pay closer attention to new manga and check them out as soon as I absolutely can. On an unrelated note, the title card that Eugenia came up with reminded me of a catchy Sesame Street song I heard in my childhood.

The Downfall of Bleach Part 2 - "Deicide 856"
Despite this video being the longest Read Right to Left I've ever done, and nearly twice as long as part 1, I still feel as if I didn't get to talk about every problem that the last few years of Bleach have had. Hence the credits gag. Due to some problems recording parts of the audio, I realized very early in the editing process that the video would NOT be done in two weeks, but the additional week I gave myself to finish the thing really ended up paying dividends, since I had time to alter the script a few more times, and to experiment with adding some background music. Despite having as much time as I did to explain my feelings on the series, I feel it's no substitute to actually sitting down with someone and having a back and forth discussion on it.

The Downfall of Bleach Part 1 - "Bright Beginnings"
If you had told me back when I first started doing Read Right to Left that by the time I got around to covering Bleach, it would've gone head-first over a cliff and was on the verge of ending in disgrace, I...might've believed you. I think it would've depended on if I felt you knew what you were talking, since I knew a lot less then than I do now.
Once again, Mochita-chan did a fantastic job with the title card. She said she wanted the title to look like the opening of The Walking Dead, which I admit I've never seen, but it's a happy coincidence that the Blip thumbnail cuts off most of the rest of the title card.

Read Right to Left - Shamo
A friend recommended I check out Shamo some time about two, maybe two and a half years ago, and I was interested when he talked about the training arc leading up to the fight between Ryo and Sugawara. The antagonist visits a temple and reflects on the time he spent with his father, while the protagonist jacks himself up on steroids. Really, it's stuff like that that would make Shamo a great parody if only the tone were a bit different. I think I was channeling some of my high school literature papers while scripting this video, but I felt it was more appropriate than a plot summary-style approach.

Read Right to Left - ALIVE
My camera returned from Canon just in time for me to make a video for Halloween. Special thanks to my roommates James Berger and Jill Jane for helping make the final scene happen.
Read Right to Left - 8 Most Satisfying Deaths in Manga
My camera was broken when I made this video, so you won't be able to gaze upon my devilishly handsome features. You WILL be able to hear the alluring sound of my voice, however.
And if that doesn't sound appealing I talk about people dying, so there's that.

Read Right to Left - The Prince of Tennis 3
Well it took quite a while to get back to making videos, but I hope this is worth the wait for you guys. The video is scheduled to go up on TGWTG next Monday, February 22, so those of you who follow me off the site get the privilege of seeing it pretty early!
There are a lot of things I didn't touch on in this video but I already had to go about fifteen full minutes talking a mile each one.

I managed to get this video done just in time for Thanksgiving! Hope those of you that celebrate it have a good one.

Older episodes: School Rumble
What I remember most about this video is discovering a lot of editing techniques that really sped up the process and took care of some glitches I'd had in the past. Also TV Tropes now thinks I hang out there all the time because of this video. I have no idea why they'd think that. And don't ask how I know this, because it totally doesn't prove I hang out there at all. Oh be quiet and watch the video.
